Production Manager
Aero Conditioner Company, LLC is a growing manufacturer of industrial air-conditioners and related equipment that moved to a larger plant located in Selkirk, NY. We are looking for a Production Manager to lead our plant who has experience in plant operations and, ideally, in commercial and industrial refrigeration/air-conditioning service.
We design and manufacture air conditioners and other HVAC equipment used around the world, mostly in industrial and military applications. One of our key lines is our multi-patented Air Cleaning Blowers™ (ACBs), the most sustainable air-filtration system made because they blow and clean air without using any filter media that clogs and requires maintenance.
We seek a person who can and wants to take the next step from crew chief to management. The position encompasses all aspects of managing production, and specifically includes full responsibility for plant staff, organization and operations of the plant, inventory, maintenance, scheduling, and shipping and receiving.

Duties
- Developer and leader of team
- Organize, lead, and supervise production employees; solving problems before they develop.
- Work with others on the plant floor to assure safety and high quality.
- Provide assistance, coaching and guidance to employees; fostering an environment that allows them to accomplish daily tasks and achieve goals.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards and adhering to legal regulations.
- Lead and motivate by example.
- Set expectations and hold employees accountable.
- Process daily employee issues and complaints; actively listen and provide feedback.
- Facilitate and assist with special projects, customer requests, samples, etc.
- Assist with selection, hiring, advancement, transfer, promotion, and termination decisions for the department.
- Manage continuous improvement projects as assigned.
- Execute operations by developing schedules, assigning, and monitoring work, resolving operation problems, maintain reference manuals, and implementing new procedures.
- Implements and enforces systems, policies, and procedures.

Personal Qualifications:
- Proven experience as supervisor.
- In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and related equipment
- Ability to make sound, independent decisions based on functional expertise and experience.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve beyond routine issues.
- Ability to coach, lead and develop employees.
- Computer literate—competent in Office programs and able to learn and use company software.
- Demonstrated understanding of safety hazards and protocols
- Good ability to read and utilize shop drawings.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
About Us: For more than ten years, Aero Conditioner Company, LLC (ACC) has specialized in the design and manufacture of harsh-duty air conditioning, ventilation, air filtration, and related products designed to cool, heat, filter and dehumidify the air. This position requires proven ability to troubleshoot HVAC systems and components to work with and guide others to assemble, calibrate and test industrial air conditioners and related equipment in our plant.
There will be no installations or other field work.

- Support customers by phone and email as they install and use our products.
Personal Qualifications:
- Smart, friendly, and anxious to leave field work and progress into guiding others in the assembly of complete air conditioners and other HVAC equipment.
- Experience in the field servicing and troubleshooting industrial and commercial refrigeration and/or air-conditioning equipment.
- Competent in brazing, tube bending, testing and calibrating, installing, electrical wiring, and the other functions of a refrigeration technician.
- Good ability to read and follow shop drawings.
- Able to communicate clearly with shop staff and managers.
- Must work well with others and under limited supervision.
- EPA Universal license.

HVAC Intern
Aero Conditioner Company, LLC is a growing manufacturer of industrial air-conditioners and related equipment that moved to a larger plant located in Selkirk, NY. We are looking for a student in an HVAC-training program in high school or college to work as an intern to help fabricate and support our various lines of HVAC equipment.
We make a wide range of air conditioners and air-filtration equipment in our plant, even explosion-proof bottled-water coolers. As a result, you will gain experience in assembly, calibration, and related aspects of a wide range of equipment. Since we make industrial air conditioners without electronics, you will have to use valves and controls that will give you good experience. You will also work with plant inventories and equipment.
Job Type: Part-Time Position with hours that can accommodate your school schedule.
Duties:
- Support the HVAC Team and Engineers who are responsible for developing Aero Conditioner Company, LLC and Air Cleaning Blowers, LLC products.
- Braze, bend tubing, assemble, test, and calibrate products, troubleshoot refrigeration and electrical problems.

- Ensuring all tools, materials, and equipment are kept track of and kept in good working order.
Personal Qualifications:
- Pursing EPA Universal License
- Knowledge of brazing, tube bending, testing and calibration, installing and troubleshooting electrical wiring, and the other functions of a refrigeration technician.
- Previous internship experience preferred but NOT required.
- Physically in good health and able to lift 45+ pounds.
- Familiarity with using basic hand and power tools.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Good communication service skills.
